I have never had such a bad experience in a salon in my life. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!
Getting my hair dont took longer than it should have due to the workers eating all the time, on their phones every second, and talking.
This place is HORRIBLE and dirty. The women working their are unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will never go there again and i advise you that if you love your hair or edges and need protective styling DO NOT GO HERE!
I've been coming to this shop for more than 15 years and I love it!!! This shop is so friendly and professional. They give you exactly what you ask for. They cater to any hair type and every length. This shop never disappoints.
I'm seeing some negative reviews and I find this very hard to believe. In all my years of going to this shop, I have never had any bad experiences or experienced anything close to what some people are saying. I always recommend this shop to my friends and family which is something that I would never do if I felt like they wouldn't take care of your hair. This shop has grown my hair back when all of it fell out due to over processing. I don't trust any shop other than Mary's. She has one of the most professional staffs I've ever encountered. It is very possible these women had preexisting conditions, such as over processing medication etc.. I highly doubt any of these reviews hold any merit as I have been in this shop and seen many customers try to get out of paying for services rendered. Shame on you for trying to discredit this shop. This place is highly recommended.
I am in so much pain from the box braids I got. I cant move any part of my face without wanted to cry because of how tight my braids are. They're work is sloppy; before I even got home my braids start to unravel so i spend another 2 hours burning my ends (which I hate doing).
Do not go if you have natural hair. They do not know how to handle it. My hair is still recovering from the damage done. It was my first time at a salon to get my hair braided. I had always had a family member do it. They are rude, have horrible time management skills, and are very unprofessional. They need to understand that people have lives outside of getting their braided. 3 hours to braid, doesn't mean you flush your entire day down the toilet, and they can dance around for 2 hours before even touching your hair. The "stylist" forced a dryer with a comb attachment through my hair in three sections. That put me In the worst mood. She applied no commonsense to how she was going to handle my hair. I HAD very thick full hair it is now ruined. i have to basically start from scratch. I did contact the owner but no amount of apology can fix what was done. I didn't even get any apology initially, she acted like it was my fault for not having processed hair. She literally said "it's because your hair is not straightened." I guess they don't have to give a crap about me as a customer because i don't have straight hair. I'm afraid now to step my foot back into a salon. If this one has such great reviews and did this to me. I'm even wondering if some of these people went to the same place i went to.
Many stylists. Did hair in a reasonable 4 hours for box braids. They gave me an accurate estimate for time when I asked. I walked in and they were courteous and honest in the wait time. Only about 30 minutes wait time for me. Fair for a walk in. All the stylists are skilled. Didn't see much variety in hair types to choose from. Everyone had same hair although different styles so not much movement to hair initially. I'm hoping it will get more movement as time goes on. BTW I had my 13 yr old hair done and she said it didn't hurt. She seemed relaxed. I recommend it.

I have been going to this shop for the past few years with my wife to get our hair done and we have never been disappointed. They do a good job and the owner and her workers are very friendly and helpful. A big thumbs up for the excellent job they do and will recommend everyone to give them a shot, trust me you won’t regret it
